Day 1

THE PORTRAIT OF HUE

(B, L, D included)

The visit to the iconic symbols

“Experiencing the Perfume River would certainly be in the top three in tourists visiting Hue’s bucket lists.”

After breakfast, we leave the hotel for Toa Kham Wharf for a cruise on the picturesque Perfume River. We embark on a traditional dragon boat heading for Thien Mu Pagoda, the symbol of Hue City.

A visit to Kien Trung Palace

Just recently accomplished its restoration, let us escort you to admire the architectural, cultural, and historical values of Kien Trung Palace, a part of the treasure of this city: Hue Imperial Citadel. Just that?

Neh! There’s no better plan than feeling the slower vibe of this city by … a cyclo! That’s a must-signature for those who have a visit to Hue!

A HECK YES MOMENT! for FOOD HUNTERS

Vietnam’s former imperial capital nurtured an elegant array of dishes that remain a source of pride for its people. We’re driving you to the dream of Hue cuisine, from street dishes to true local stalls, and yes please… a dessert used to serve only for Kings!

Put on your helmet! We’ll show you here the city of food diversity with the heartwarming locals!

Day 2

HUE IN WANDERERS' EYES

(Breakfast and Lunch included)

Morning Yoga

Find your zen at the beginning of your day with around 1-hour yoga experience and feel rejuvenated before the clock even strikes 7 am. Enjoy a light breakfast at the hotel, and get ready for an exciting upcoming event!

Unique firsthand experience of making Banh Bot Loc (Hue’s Tapioca Dumplings)

Vietnamese is more like a rice-oriented cuisine where “rice to richness” is the base of creativity. Here, we offer you a new meaning of rice, where you can experience how to make Banh Bot Loc – the most popular dish in town. These dumplings are filled with shrimp and pork topped with spring onions, fried shallots, and of course, fish sauce!

Let’s master making these little chewies with our local aunties from one of the most well-known traditional family businesses in Banh Bot Loc, where only Hum Companions are welcome!

Tu Hieu Pagoda – The Root Temple

Spend a little more time focusing on yourself since peace reigns deep at Tu Hieu Pagoda. It’s not only about learning about us, it’s also about the inspirational stories relating to the Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh, who just returned to Vietnam and rested in peace recently.

Sinh (Hue) Paper Flower Village | Sinh (Hue) Village of Folk Paintings

The city of Hue embraces the value of culture with a variety of craft villages, and Sinh Village is a more off-beaten-track spot that should not be missed. You will learn the 400-year history of this village. Also, you will observe the painting process up close to artworks, and try your hand at creating your own unique paintings.

Lunch in a Hue Royal Cuisine-style

Hue royal cuisine is a typical imperial banquet, including dozens of meticulous dishes that are virtually appealing and used to serve only the imperial family.

WHY? It’s more like the pinnacle of Vietnamese cuisine due to its sophistication and meticulousness. The essence of Hue royal cuisine is based on the “balance theory” of Vietnamese belief, it’s the balance of yin and yang and of 5-element fengshui, representing choosing ingredients, preparing – cooking, to its utensils.

Sit straight like a king/queen and experience the royal taste!

Day 3

WHEN - IN - THE MOST LIVEABLE CITY IN VIETNAM

(Breakfast included)

Transferring to Hoi An

This may be your first time on a train in Asia and trust us, the first time is always special. It’s an experience. Especially on this train, do not just relax because we’re passing through a thousand breathtaking and picturesque sights.

Bay Mau Coconut Forest – The quintessential gem of Hoi An

Hold your soul and open your mind because we’re sitting on a coracle boat, floating on the river, weaving into small creeks, and gazing at the rows of green coconut trees in the unforgettable setting of nature.

But why hold your soul? A must-see experience here is the expert performances of the boatmen as they challenge each other to… coracle spinning at the fastest speed possible. The person rowing the coracle rotates 180 degrees in the middle of the waves. This challenge also attracts visitors who want to enjoy a heart-throbbing experience because just a few rotations are enough to impair the senses.

Tailoring – Ancient Town Walking Tour

Again, you’ll have your only me time experience with the night vibe of The Ancient Town – an exciting experience to get your personalized tailored suit/dress. Getting expert advice within only 48 hours, your own-styled garment will be ready for the fashion walk!
