We’ll dock at a traditional brick kiln, where you’ll see bricks crafted by hand the traditional way, pretty neat stuff!
Next stop? A local coconut workshop buzzing with activity, where everything coconut is made fresh right before your eyes.

Then we’ll navigate into narrow, peaceful path. From there, we’ll stroll into a friendly local village, dropping by a family-run workshop that makes colorful sleeping mats. Don’t miss then chance joining your hands on crafting a mat with the beloved people of Ben Tre!

Exciting what’s next? Let’s ride the local xe loi, cruising along shady, winding paths flanked by rice fields and vibrant veggie patches.

Then, quick 30-minute transfer to local homestay in Cai Be and spend the night here.

DAY 3

A DELTA OUT OF MEDIA (CAI BE - CAI THIA)

Start the day at the fullest energy!

Our first stop? A local house where you’ll dive into Don Ca Tai Tu, Vietnam’s soulful folk music that’s so cool it’s UNESCO-recognized. Originally a way for Cái Bè locals to entertain themselves while farming, this tradition has now blossomed into full-time careers, enabling them to pursue their passion as professional artists.
Next, get hands-on with a unique local experience in the Mekong Delta: POP-RICE MAKING! Join the locals as they show you how to transform rice into this crunchy, delicious snack using age-old techniques. It’s a fun and interactive way to dive into the region’s culture, and of course, you’ll get to taste the freshly made pop-rice right on the spot!

Then, we’re hopping on a rowing boat through the narrow canals, leading us to a hidden gem of a local village. Once there, we’ll switch to bicycles for a fun ride through the village, under shaded paths with the authentic local vibe!

Pedaling together, we’ll arrive at the oldest of the oldest houses, nestled within a 1.8-hectare fruit garden. The house is featured as one of the most beautiful ancient houses in Vietnam by Japan’s JICA organization. But it’s not just about history, it’s about hanging out with the locals. Meet Mrs. Chinh, the fourth-generation owner, and the interactive experience of making Banh Xeo – traditional pancakes together.

We’ll cap it off with a chill, home-cooked lunch including 4 appetizers, 3 main courses, and a dessert: – A TRUE MEKONG DELTA FEAST that makes you feel like part of the family

The boat will drop us off at a local homestay. As the evening sets, it’s time to be wowed by the southern local cuisine. Dinner is a celebration: of food, culture, and the connections you’ll cherish long after the trip. End the day under a starlit sky, resting in the peacefulness of your homestay.

DAY 4

WAKE UP IN MEKONG DELTA

Start your morning with a delicious breakfast at the homestay, savoring the fresh flavors of the Mekong Delta. Afterward, hop on a bike and pedal beneath the sprawling orchards, where sunlight filters through the trees and life feels wonderfully unhurried. If cycling isn’t your style, simply relax and soak in the tranquil scenery.

Back at the homestay, it’s time to pack up and say goodbye to your warm and welcoming hosts. We then make our way back to Ho Chi Minh City. End of the trip.
