DAY 1

SETTING UP THE MOOD

Estimated Walking Distance: 6km

Departure

Gather at Tan Son Nhat International Airport and catch the direct flight to Hong Kong International Airport (flight schedule will be confirmed upon registration). After completing the airport check-out procedures, you’ll be provided with a SIM card and an Octopus card for using public transportation for the upcoming 5 days. Then, the team will head to the hotel for check-in. Rest and prepare for the upcoming dining and leisure activities, starting in the late afternoon.

Canton Road

Gently start your Hong Kong exploration on Canton Road, where the world’s most luxurious brands are overflowing. 

Dinner

Kick off your “food tour” with the famous roasted goose and char siu rice at a local restaurant. It is extremely famous for its juicy meaty flavor. Each portion is delicate and attractive, with crispy skin and delicious goose meat, along with fragrant and fatty char siu, creating a truly authentic Hong Kong dining experience.

Conquer Lan Kwai Fong and beyond

Lan Kwai Fong may not be unfamiliar to you, where you’ll savor signature shots at a fascinating hidden-gem pub to get into the mood for the first night! But there’s more, Possible Guides will take you to two other very cool hangout spots for Hong Kong’s youth that no tour on the market offers.

DAY 2

EMOTIONAL DAY

We will have breakfast at a dim sum restaurant that has been passed down for 3 generations.

Explore local shops

Then the whole team will go through ancient and vibrant alleys to explore the Central District of Hong Kong and visit an exotic Joss paper-making shop for the super-rich of Hong Kong, the local market selling dried seafood, and traditional Chinese medicine market,…

Man Mo Temple

The temple is also classified as a Grade I Historic Building in Hong Kong because it displays a lot of traditional handicrafts. This place has been worshiped by the locals for its sacredness for over 170 years.

Lunch

Enjoy lunch with the renowned Wonton Noodle Soup at a Michelin-listed restaurant for multiple consecutive years – hand-pulled noodles perfectly firm in a clear, subtly sweet soup made from shrimp and meat broth. Particularly, the dumplings here come in XXL size.

Then, indulge in a milk tea at Lan Fong Yuen and savor the famous egg tart of Hong Kong for dessert.

Tai Kwun Art Exhibition

To relax our stomachs, we will walk around the Tai Kwun art exhibition – a unique arts and culture center. You will immerse yourself in the creative and historical art exhibition space of Hong Kong. Then stop at a local craft beer shop by the Exhibition and listen to local rap songs. 

Take the Ding Ding Tram

Then, the whole team will experience the ding ding tram together – the oldest public transportation in Hong Kong. This is your chance to see the bustling city through a little minimal window.

Victoria Peak

In the late afternoon, the whole team will explore Victoria Peak. From this high point, you will witness the sparkling cityscape of the city at night and the majestic natural scenery. This is a rare opportunity to enjoy the cool air and the panoramic view of Hong Kong.

Dinner

Dine at a super local restaurant, yet featured in the Michelin guide, offering traditional Hong Kong dishes alongside the pinnacle of squid ink dishes.

Then, the entire team returns to the hotel to rest, awaiting the continuation of the journey the next day.

DAY 3

EXCITING DAY

Lunch

You will have a local lunch before moving to Kowloon City to visit Wong Tai Sin Temple – a famous place for fortune-telling and matchmaking in Hong Kong.

Snacks

Stop to enjoy Hong Kong’s signature fish ball curry at a traditional family business – one of Chow Yun-fat’s favorite spots.

Kowloon Walled City

The team will visit the ruins of Kowloon Walled City – the “City of Darkness” of crime, an unforgettable memory for the people of Hong Kong. Then, take some time to explore the special stories of the peanut candy shop and the local seafood market.

Dinner

Stop for dinner at a local hot pot restaurant, enjoying the famous Hong Kong hot pot with interesting side dishes like duck blood, fish maw, shrimp balls, etc. Then end the day with a bowl of Yangzhi Ganlu dessert made from mango and grapefruit, which is extremely fresh and refreshing.

DAY 4

OVERWHELMING DAY

Bird Market and Flower Market

Today will be a day of emotional reflection. The whole team will start the day by experiencing the bird market and flower market. It may sound simple, but you will get to hear a “treasure trove” of fascinating local stories from the Local Buddy.

Bakery over 20 years old

Then, our Localbuddy will take you to his father’s former bakery to taste the cakes and listen to the stories of its owner from his old days in Kowloon Walled City.

Lunch

The team will test fried pig’s trotters and 1800 famous dishes made from tofu – an iconic symbol of Hong Kong. The dish has a history spanning over 2000 years and may appear simple, but the process of making it is actually quite intricate.

 

Explore the “shoebox house”

Well, brace yourself because you’re about to witness the “shoebox houses” – a specialty of the country known as the “inch of land, inch of gold.” Listen to understand the story of why people in Hong Kong still have to live in houses with an area of 7-8 square meters until now.

Enjoy local coffee

Then, take some time to relax at a café blending new and old in the Sham Shui Po area, reminiscing about the old days through vintage shops selling film posters, vinyl records of TVB shows, and Hong Kong’s past.

Mei Ho

Move on to Mei Ho – one of the few remaining and preserved old residential buildings from the 1950s, now transformed into a museum showcasing the old way of life and history of Hong Kong residents.

Dinner

Dinner Indulge in a seafood dinner at a Dai Pai Dong – a typical Hong Kong-style eatery.

Temple Street Night Market 

Discover the place that was once the filming location for many famous TVB triad dramas. This place is bustling at night with barbecue stalls, outdoor bars, interesting fortune-telling booths, and renowned Cantonese opera performances. Here, you’ll experience singing famous Canton Pop songs in a karaoke bar with a classic Hong Kong 80s vibe. Continue drinking, dancing, and chatting, sharing with each other until dawn.

DAY 5

NOSTALGIC

Breakfast

Enjoy a traditional Hong Kong-style breakfast and indulge in classic milk tea. Then, visit a famous bakery known for its chicken biscuits to buy some pastry gifts and learn the story behind the nickname “Wife Cake” for this pastry.

Hong Kong Museum of Art

Explore the Hong Kong Art Museum, take the time to admire and remember every detail of Hong Kong from the past to the present before heading to the airport.

Lunch and airport

Have lunch and then move to the airport for the evening flight back to Saigon, bidding farewell to the vibrant harbor city. See you again soon!

Are there any promotions for early registration?

You will get special price incentives when you register 60 days before your departure date. Please contact us to get the latest price information before registering.

What is the cancellation policy?

We support a refund of up to 10% of the registration value when you cancel your booking within 45 days before departure. And there's even no fee if you cancel 60 days before your departure date. However, the fee will increase gradually by 20%, 50%, and 75% if you cancel close to the booked departure date.

Why doesn’t your tour package include airfare?

Hum Travel understands that our customers come from all over the country and are living abroad. Therefore, our Trip Consultant will help you book your flight tickets as soon as you have chosen your desired booking date. Airfare prices will be chosen according to your personal needs and preferences. You can choose Business Class as well as any airline that suits your registration schedule.

How much deposit do I need in advance?

50% of the trip value is the minimum you need to deposit for your trip. The rest will be completed 15 days before the departure date. Upon registration, our Trip Consultants will also immediately assist you in choosing the right flight for your departure location and personal needs.
