This is Saigon, seen through the steam of a coffee cup. Forget lattes and Wi-Fi, this is a deep dive into Vietnam’s coffee soul, from street corners buzzing with motorbikes to quiet alley cafés where time stands still. You’ll cruise through the city’s backstreets, sip your way through generations of brewing styles, and see how locals turned a bitter bean into a cultural icon.

Start with a classic: coffee and banh mi on the sidewalk. Hit up the oldest café in town, get cozy in a hidden neighborhood, and see how Vietnam’s fastest-growing coffee brand is shaking things up. It all ends at a next-gen café where Robusta gets the royal treatment. This isn’t a coffee tour: it’s Saigon, bold and brewed strong.

Itinerary

A journey through the city Saigon from the perspective of the humble coffee bean. Learn of its origin, its charm, and the various ways the Saigonese have brewed and enjoyed this beverage.

What are you in for? You’ll be accompanied by our guides and drivers along the winding streets and alleys of Saigon, each stop delivering you to a different way us Saigonese enjoy our coffee throughout the years. We begin with breakfast the old-fashioned way – coffee and banh mi. Stop by Saigon’s oldest cafe for a morning cuppa with the locals and witness an unconventional (but just as delicious) way to make coffee. Then, take a tour through a nearby residential area and see how the locals hustle their morning, the old way.

Takeaways and to-go’s are not uncommon in Vietnam, so it’s time to see how one of the country’s fastest growing brands is pioneering the cafe business, all the while preserving and maintaining its historical flair. Sightseeing is always in order, of course, so why not a salmon pink church?

Coffee making is an art, and you get to see how the coffee connoisseurs  are mixing the old and the new at our final destination. Here they elevate the humble Robusta to its worthy position, giving it new taste profiles and depth using inventive methods.
